Tryinq for Rapport, Neutral Rapport and Breakinq Rapport

1. Breaking Rapport: Ignoring, cutting off. Making them qualify themselves: "Why are you talking to me? Dude, keep talking, I want to hear this awesome stuff." Pretend TR, condescending ("You're cool, man."). High school shirt

2. Neutral Rapport: Asking for INFO, not personal "want to get to know them" stuff. Suggesting going somewhere you were going anyway.

3. Trying for Rapport: Reality pacing ('Nice weather,"), situational topics, asking personal questions, complimenting, bragging ('I make a lot of money").

4. You can say the same thing with all three gradations. Each will subcommunicate different things.

5. Autopilot responses. People have 'autopilot responses" to these things. They will blow off TR, but chase BR. No response to NR ... they'tl just sit there until they can determine what is being sub-communicated. That's why NR is oflen the best way to START a conversation. HSULSE will dictate the types of autopilot responses they will have. You can be more cocky and arrogant with 8s and 9s, but tone it down for the lesser girls.
